Jim joined Red Hat as President and CEO in December 2007. He most recently served as COO of Delta Airlines.

Jim brings operational pragmatism with technology savvy to the lead role at Red Hat. A technologist at an early age, Jim programmed customer relationship software for stockbrokers as a teenager and attended Rice University as a Computer Science Major. Jim earned his MBA from Harvard and went on to become a partner at Boston Consulting Group. Delta was a major customer of his at BCG.

Jim chose Red Hat because it's a company with a strong culture driven by a mission. He is driving strategic focus for the company and narrowing Red Hat's aperture to include initiatives that make Red Hat the best in the markets it serves; the best enterprise technology provider and leader of open source. Jim is also a big proponent in encouraging Red Hat customers to not only consume the company's solutions, but to also contribute back to drive innovation across the entire open source community.

Craig Muzilla is Vice President, Middleware Business Unit at Red Hat, where he is responsible for the overall middleware and JBoss product business. Craig has extensive experience leading businesses that provide Java, SOA, application integration and data integration middleware software products. He provided leadership establishing early Web services industry initiatives, and has led strategy, product management, marketing, and business development for many middleware software companies.

Prior to Red Hat, Craig was Senior Vice President at MetaMatrix, a leader in data services middleware that was acquired by Red Hat. Craig was also vice president at Avaki Corporation (now Sybase) and Bowstreet (now IBM). Craig holds an MBA degree from Boston University and a bachelors degree from Ohio State University.

Jess Reed serves as group vice president and chief information officer of Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO). He was elected to the post in 2003.

Reporting to him are the six sigma operations, Internet Business Unit and all corporate systems including internet systems, mainframe and client server operations, ACD and telecommunication network systems, systems security, automated print/mail services, application development and all other enterprise systems for GEICO.

He previously served as vice president of systems and also headed the telecommunications department.

Reed joined the company in 1974 as a performance analyst. He subsequently served as project analyst, planning analyst and director of telecommunications before being named assistant vice president in 1988.

Reed holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Shepherd University in West Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Mount Saint Mary's in Maryland.

Originally from western Maryland, Jess now resides in Gaithersburg, MD.

Mark Little is Vice President of Engineering of Middleware at Red Hat, where he works with the various product teams, engineering and project managers to help influence the technical direction of Red Hat's suite of middleware products. Prior to this, Mark was SOA Technical Development Manager and Director of Standards at JBoss. He was also Chief Architect and co-founder at Arjuna Technologies and has been working in the area of reliable distributed systems since the mid-1980's. Mark's PhD was on fault-tolerant distributed systems, replication and transactions. Over the last 20 years, Mark has written over 50 technical papers, presented at many conferences and workshops, and has written several books.

Tony is currently responsible for Innovation and Emerging Technologies within Accenture's Technology Architecture organization. He has worked in the technology consulting field for all of his career, 18 years of which have been with Accenture. He has a background in large complex systems implementations spanning all of the technology genres of the past 25 years. Within his current role, Tony is also responsible for Accenture's Innovation Center for Open Source.
